Values and Principles

The Ai.ethics Program is based on the Values and Principles adopted by UNESCO in its 2021 Recommendation, the Code of Conduct of the G7, and other significant documents published by international bodies such as the OECD and ISO. It also draws from existing regulatory frameworks at the European and global levels, all of which center around the human being and their dignity. In these frameworks, Artificial Intelligence systems are regarded as valuable tools that should contribute to the defense and promotion of human rights and society. Additionally, they are seen as a contribution to environmental sustainability.
